TUNES BUILT IN-HOUSE, VALIDATED ON OUR DYNO

Every CADE tune is developed in-house on our Australian-built Dynotech AWD dynamometer. We don't buy off-the-shelf tunes and rebrand them — every calibration is written by our engineers specifically for the platform, tested to failure, and refined for real-world reliability on Australian fuels and conditions.

Our Stage 1 tunes extract every ounce of power from factory hardware by rewriting boost, fuel, ignition, and torque-request maps. Stage 2 adds bolt-on hardware — downpipes, intakes, intercoolers — paired with a more aggressive calibration. Stage 3 builds involve forged internals, turbo upgrades, and complete supporting modifications for maximum output.

Every tune includes a before-and-after dyno report so you can see exactly what you paid for. Tunes are flashed via OBD using our proprietary CADE-FLASH platform, and we keep a backup of your stock file so you can revert to factory at any time.

TUNING FAQ

What power gains can I expect from a Stage 1 tune?

Stage 1 gains vary by platform. Typical results: Mercedes C63S W205 +60hp / +120Nm, BMW M3 Competition G80 +130hp / +250Nm, Audi RS3 +80hp / +100Nm, Golf R Mk8 +80hp / +100Nm. Every tune is dyno-validated at CADE on our Dynotech AWD dynamometer.

Will tuning void my manufacturer warranty?

Tuning may affect the powertrain portion of your warranty. We can return the vehicle to fully stock software before any warranty visit. Check with your insurer about modification disclosure — we provide dyno sheets and tune documentation for insurance purposes.

Do you tune on 98 octane or E85?

Both. We primarily tune on 98 RON pump fuel which is widely available across Adelaide. E85 tunes are available for vehicles with compatible fuel systems and deliver additional power. Flex-fuel tunes that switch between 98 and E85 are also supported on select platforms.

How long do you need my car for?

Stage 1 OBD tunes typically require half a day. Stage 2 with hardware installation takes 1–2 days. Full Stage 3 builds with forged internals or turbo upgrades take 1–3 weeks depending on parts availability and scope of work.

Can you retune back to stock?

Yes. We keep a backup of your original calibration for every client and can restore stock software at any time. Typical cost is $150 for a restore flash.

What's the difference between Stage 1 and Stage 2?

Stage 1 is software-only — an ECU remap optimising boost, fuel, and ignition on factory hardware. Stage 2 adds bolt-on hardware such as downpipes, intake, and intercooler upgrades paired with a more aggressive calibration. Stage 3 involves forged internals, turbo upgrades, and full supporting modifications for maximum output.
