GTI AND GOLF R, MK5 TO MK7.5
The Mk7 Golf GTI is the Volkswagen we service most, followed by the Mk6 GTI and Golf R and then the Mk7 Golf R. EA888 Gen3 Arteon, Passat and Tiguan models from 162TSI to 206TSI are serviced alongside them, as are Jettas, the R36 and Mk5 GTIs.
After A services and general repairs, spark plug and coil changes are the next most frequent job on our VW invoices.
DSG AND HALDEX SERVICES
DSG transmission services and Haldex services are both regular jobs on our Volkswagen invoices.
DSG SERVICE
The EA888 Gen3 Golf GTI and Golf R use DSG dual-clutch gearboxes (DQ250 and DQ381), serviced here at the interval in your logbook.
HALDEX SERVICE
For the all-wheel-drive models such as the Golf R, the Haldex coupling gets its own oil service.
