CADE Technologies completed Australia's first forged S58 build. We've since built some of the most powerful M3/M4 G80/G82 platforms in the country, running custom calibrations we developed in-house on our Dynotech AWD dynamometer. Every S58 build starts with CADE's own mapping — not off-the-shelf tunes.

We also developed the CADE S55/N55 Crank Capture Kit in response to the well-known crank hub slip issues that plague tuned F80 M3/M4 and N55-powered cars. At $220 inc GST, it's cheap insurance that has saved many of our clients thousands in catastrophic engine damage.

Beyond the M performance range, we work extensively on the B58 platform — M340i, 540i, Toyota A90 Supra — with Stage 1, Stage 2, and built-motor options. Our BMW M experience spans from the naturally-aspirated S65 M3 E90/E92 and S85 M5 E60, right through to the latest G-chassis S58 cars.

CONSULTATION

INSPECTION

ISTA diagnostic scan, M-specific health check (crank hub, turbo play, S58 timing), baseline dyno pull.

BUILD & TUNE

Hardware installed, custom CADE calibration flashed. TCU tune paired for DCT/ZF8HP. Full dyno development.

VALIDATION

Final dyno pulls, road test, data logging review. You drive away with a dialled-in BMW M making real power.

BMW M FAQ

What BMW M models do you work on?

Every BMW M platform from E46 to current. M3 (E46, E90/E92, F80, G80), M4 (F82, G82), M2 (F87, G87), M5 (E39, E60, F10, F90), M8, M340i, X3M/X4M, X5M/X6M, plus older classics. Full support for S58, S55, S63, S65, S85, B58, N54, and N55 engines.

Do you fix S55 and N55 crank hub issues?

Yes. This is one of our specialties. We developed the CADE S55/N55 Crank Capture Kit ($220 inc GST) which prevents catastrophic crank hub failure on tuned F80 M3/M4 and N55-powered cars. We also perform full crank hub repair and preventative pinning service. Every M3/M4 client gets a free crank hub inspection as part of our check-in process.

Did you build Australia's first forged S58?

Yes. CADE Technologies completed Australia's first forged S58 build in early 2024. The build combined forged pistons and rods with custom calibration to support boost levels well beyond factory limits. Full build details are covered in our blog.

Can you tune the B58 in M340i and Toyota Supra?

Yes. The B58 is one of our most-tuned platforms. Stage 1 on the M340i (G20) delivers +70hp / +100Nm on 98 RON. Stage 2 with downpipes, intake, and intercooler delivers up to +120hp. We also support Toyota A90 Supra B58 tuning.

Do you tune on 98 RON or E85?

Both. Most clients choose 98 RON for daily convenience. E85 tunes are available for compatible fuel systems and deliver significantly more power — for example the S55 F80 M3 gains an extra +40hp on E85 over 98 RON. Flex-fuel kits available for select M platforms.

Is there a warranty on BMW M tunes?

CADE provides a 12-month tune-related warranty on our calibrations. All CADE hardware (downpipes, intakes, crank hub kits) carries a 3-year warranty. Factory manufacturer warranty may be affected — we can flash back to stock at any time for dealer visits.
